Kinder Programme · 3–6 years

The questions get bigger.
So does their world.

Children connect language, mathematics, science, creativity and life skills through ideas they can investigate and experiences they will remember.

What changes in Kinder

Wonder becomes deeper thinking.

As children grow, they are ready to hold a question for longer, explain an idea, collaborate, test possibilities and connect one experience to another. Teachers add intention and challenge without taking away the joy of discovery.

01

Strong foundations

Language, early literacy and mathematics become meaningful tools children use to understand and communicate.

02

Ideas worth investigating

Science and inquiry begin with questions children can observe, predict, test and explain.

03

A capable place in the world

Responsibility, collaboration and everyday independence prepare children for school and for life beyond it.

Monthly themes in Kinder

One inquiry can connect a whole curriculum.

Children stay with an idea long enough to question it, test it, express it and understand it from more than one angle.

During a theme such as Growing Little Things, children may learn plant vocabulary in three languages, count and measure growth, observe what living things need, create botanical art and take responsibility for caring for a garden. The subjects remain intentional, but the learning feels like one connected journey.

Our annual theme plan guides progression and depth. It remains flexible enough for teachers to respond to children’s questions, current events and valuable real world opportunities.

The Kinder difference

Children do not only hear the answer.
They enter the question.

Transform

A classroom became a traffic city.

Roads, signs and crossings turned rules, movement and community into something children could navigate.

Grow

A seed became a harvest.

Children planted, cared, observed, harvested and explored how vegetables can grow through hydroponics.

Reveal

A real lung made breathing visible.

A carefully guided demonstration using a goat lung helped children observe how lungs expand and contract.

Investigate

Water became clean and created power.

Filtration and hydropower models turned prediction and testing into visible results.

A curriculum for the whole child

Many learning areas. One connected child.

Subjects give learning structure. Experience helps children see how those ideas belong together in the real world.
